In celebration of World Architecture Day, which is October 6, 2014, the Buffalo Architecture Foundation will be holding a week-long celebration of Buffalo’s architecture and its influence on our community and daily lives.
We are calling the week, Festival of Architecture – Buffalo or FAB.
BAF, in partnership with other local cultural organizations, will provide educational programming, community-based design activities, public lectures, roundtable discussions, to celebrate Buffalo’s architecture , and an inaugural fundraising event to support future BAF programs.

FAB Passport to Buffalo
BAF programs are only a start! We imagine Festival of Architecture – Buffalo as more than just programming provided by the Buffalo Architecture Foundation. As stewards of Buffalo’s built environment, and the connections between the public to architecture and design, BAF hopes to pave the way for other groups to celebrate Buffalo’s architecture as well during this special week. The FAB Passport to Buffalo will house a list of events, programs, specials, discounts, etc. by all of our FAB partners. By partnering with museums, tours groups, local businesses, local architectural landmarks, we encourage everyone to discover Buffalo’s architecture, design and culture in their own way.
