In celebration of World Architecture Day, which is celebrated each year on the first Monday in October, the Buffalo Architecture Foundation will be holding a week-long celebration of Buffalo’s architecture and its influence on our community and daily lives. We are calling the week, Festival of Architecture – Buffalo or FAB.
BAF, in partnership with other local cultural organizations, will provide educational programming, community-based design activities, public lectures, roundtable discussions, to celebrate Buffalo’s architecture , and a fundraising event to support future BAF programs.

FAB Passport to Buffalo!
BAF programs are only a start! We imagine Festival of Architecture – Buffalo as more than just programming provided by the Buffalo Architecture Foundation. As stewards of Buffalo’s built environment, and the connections between the public to architecture and design, BAF is providing a way for other groups to celebrate Buffalo’s architecture during this special week. By partnering with museums, tours groups, local businesses, local architectural landmarks, we encourage everyone to discover Buffalo’s architecture, design and culture in their own way.
