Buffalo Garden Walk Stories – 187 Fargo Avenue

For a long time my yard only grew children.
When my house was young horse and carriage were the primary mode of transportation.  The title goes back to 1823 for the land but it seems that this house was probably built 1860-1880.  The grounds are tiny and further compriomised by the very large conifer.  There is no back yard only the side and small plot in front of the house.  The side yard has been divided into areas for shed, Iris garden, composter, rain barrel, and vegetable garden. Purple pole beans and cherry tomatoes reside in a cement mixing tub. The shed roof hosts a succulent garden. High privacy fencing is covered in cascades of Wisteria and Trumpet Vine.  Please visit my hidden garden.
